What is Lifestyle Medicine

The cornerstone of health is our lifestyle
Logos Health
Logos Health

Lifestyle Medicine is a branch of healthcare that emphasizes the role of daily habits in preventing and treating disease. What we do each day has a profound impact on our physical and mental well-being. Rather than relying on medication as the first line of treatment. At Logos Health we  focus on helping you identify and transform your daily routines to achieve health. Whether that be controlling your blood pressure, diabetes, weight loss, fatigue or just optimizing your health to prevent these chronic diseases.

Health

We believe that true health is more than just the absence of disease—it's your body functioning at its optimal level, both inside and out.

Root Causes

We believe mainstream healthcare places excessive emphasis on treating the advanced stages of disease, often overlooking prevention and addressing the root causes of illness.

Lifestyle

We believe optimal health stems from lifestyle changes, with medication and procedures supporting, not defining, well-being.

Pillars of Health

We believe health is achieved through proper nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoiding harmful substances, and fostering positive social connections.

Foundation

We believe that a person's sense of meaning, purpose, values, and spiritual health form the foundation upon which all aspects of health, including physical health, are built.

Control Chronic Diseases

We believe that lifestyle is a major cause of chronic disease, and therefore, addressing lifestyle is an essential part of treatment chronic disease's, such as Hypertension, Diabetes, Obesity, High Cholesterol, etc.

David Paik MD

I am a board certified family physician with over 15 years of experience. I graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and trained in Family Medicine in Vancouver, Washington. For over a decade I have served as a clinical professor for the University of Washington Family Medicine Network. Over the years of working in primary care I have learned that the best way to health is a comprehensive approach that focuses not just on the body and the disease but also the person holistically, emotionally, socially and even spiritually. Through understanding a person and their lifestyle remarkable changes can be made.

Find the root cause of your conditions and start from there.
